Maxxis Ardent 2.6 or 2.4 tyre currently £19.99 !!
Pete ran this as a front tyre last year and he is still running it this winter.  It doesn't seem to clog much and runs nicely at low pressure, bags of grip.  This is the cheepest we could find it anyway.
